Where each platform actually stands
Checked against the code on 28 September 2026. Each line says how it was established, so you can check it too.
Android
In developmentBeing written. Screens exist for onboarding, device health, the evidence vault, incidents, SOS and settings. It is not on any app store.
How we know: android/ project present with eleven screen groups under src/screens; no Play Store listing.
iOS
Designed · not builtNot started. There is no iOS project — and when it is built it will not match Android, because iOS does not permit several of the things the Android app does.
How we know: No ios/ directory in the mobile repository.
What it is being built to do
Three things, described as intentions because the app is not released and anything firmer would be a promise:
- An evidence vault. Records of what happened to you, fingerprinted when they arrive so an alteration afterwards is detectable — and which cannot be deleted, including by us.
- SOS. A trusted contact is a name, a number and a relationship, chosen by you in advance.
- Scam checks you ask for. You hand us a message or a link and we check it. That is a different thing from filtering, and the difference is the next card.
It does not read your messages
The app asks for no SMS permissions. That is a deliberate decision rather than an unfinished feature: the permissions were removed, and a test in the mobile codebase fails if they come back.
Competitors describe “scam message filtering”, which requires reading every message you receive. We check what you submit, when you submit it. It catches less. It also means nothing of ours is sitting in your inbox.
Why iOS will not match Android
Apple does not allow an app to do several of the things the Android build does. An iOS version will be a narrower product — scam checks, evidence and emergency — rather than the same app on a different phone.
Saying so now is cheaper than saying it to somebody who has already paid expecting parity.
